magnifier in one! The Mobilux-Far represents a revolution in
functionality and optics for the visually impaired. The Mobilux-Far
is the first “combination” hand held magnifier and
telescope, and is perfect for those who want one product that
can be used for both distance and near tasks. The Mobilux-Far
can actually be used a third way too: when set as a telescope
and used in reverse (looking through the objective lens) it
can be used as a field expander-perfect for those who need to
have a larger field of view.
The lens used in the Mobilux Far takes advantage of new diffractive
optic technology that replaces refractive lenses. The objective
lens features a refractive front surface and diffractive rear
surface. This combination design provides power and color
correction in a single thin lens, making the Mobilux-Far versatile
yet compact. |
